My name is Amber von Nagel.  I run this blog!  It’s updated every Wednesday and Friday with posts about poetry, music, photography, sewing, vintage fashion, and other art-related topics.

I am a writer who lives in the San Francisco Bay Area of California.  My main area of interest is in poetry.  My poems have been published in Nerve Cowboy, Nibble, the Chaffey Review, Zaum (in print and online), and Puffin Circus.  I worked as the poetry editor for Zaum magazine after being published in their 14th issue.  I published a poetry chapbook titled The Ancestors (I still have copies available), and I am currently working on a new, full-length book of poetry, due to release in 2012.  In addition, I have printed two poetry broadsides, copies of which are also available for purchase.

I have been with my wonderful husband, Arthur, for six years.  We were married in San Francisco City Hall in April of 2012.  I am really happy to be married to such a good man.
